Organization: Environmental Srvcs MCJCHV Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY Assists department leadership in personnel management. Assists department leadership in daily operations. Assists department leadership in assuring quality of work. Assists department leadership in measuring and improving customer service. Assists department leadership with supply management. . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assists department leadership in personnel management. Provides feedback into performance reviews for assigned staff. Assists in new employee orientation and ongoing training. Assists in development of and management of daily work schedules. Assists department leadership in daily operations. Works as a member of the Environmental Services team. Completes daily work assignments for assigned areas. Makes frequent rounds in assigned areas. Identifies and corrects areas of opportunity. Resolves problems directly with Manager. Submits required reports in a timely manner. Assists department leadership in assuring quality of work. Conducts quality inspections and documents findings. Provides constructive and positive feedback to staff regarding inspection results. Identifies issues and takes action appropriately. Documents the issue and action taken. Assists department leadership in measuring and improving customer service. Initiates contact and establishes positive relationships with key customers to ensure satisfaction with service. Resolves issues promptly with communication back to customer. Documents customer service issues and discusses appropriately with department leadership. Assists department leadership with supply management. Orders/stocks chemicals and supplies. Maintains appropriate inventory levels in assigned work closets/exchange carts. Ensures minimal waste of products through review and reeducation of staff. Prepares work order requests for repairs needed in assigned areas.
