This job provides professional level administrative support to the Executive(s), department(s) or function(s) assigned by performing a variety of tasks such as typing, sorting, filing, photocopying, maintaining calendars, booking travel, submitting expense reports and ordering supplies. Creates documents such as memos and other correspondence and generates reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other software as needed. Serves as a point of contact for the department answering calls, relaying messages, and escalating issues to the appropriate person / group. Oversees administrative personnel and manages projects and organizes events such as lunches and meetings. Location: Baton Rouge Full Time

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in a professional administrative role supporting an executive level leader.
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to the Executive, department or function through professional-level administrative duties.
  • Develops personnel and workforce to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Generates and maintains documents, reports, correspondence and performs other duties related to computer programs and systems support for the department.
  • Manages special projects for the department.
  • Serves as a point person to those outside the department.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
