About The Position

Responsible for the effective functioning of the Security Department on assigned shift. The position involves supervising Security Officers, patrolling the property, identifying security hazards, and ensuring the safety of guests and team members. The role also includes preparing reports on incidents, maintaining knowledge of property events, and ensuring high levels of guest service and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Some college highly preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in law enforcement or gaming security required.
  • Excellent communication skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the supervision of Security Officers on assigned shift.
  • Patrols the property on assigned shift, identifying potential security and/or safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate individual.
  • Acts as a back-up to Security Officers on assigned shift and assumes their duties when necessary.
  • Prepares and requests reports on incidents involving guests, team members and/or the facility, as needed.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of property, as well as special events on property.
  • Guards all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor.
  • Interacts with guests and team members in a positive, professional manner.
  • Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction throughout the property.
  • Accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record.
  • Inspires others by demonstrating a high level of commitment and energy.
  • Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills.
  • Conveys positive energy and enthusiasm focusing on customer interaction.
  • Continuously improves service by evaluating service problems using feedback or data.
  • Communicates service problems and team plans in buzz sessions.
  • Immediately addresses service issues and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Keeps team well informed of property promotions and events.
  • Develops highly skilled, successful employees and sets realistic service standards.
  • Clearly communicates and enforces company expectations.
  • Addresses employee performance issues and provides ongoing feedback.
  • Uses EOS data to improve the workplace and recognizes individual and team performance.
