This position reports to the Manager, Marketing Communications and Strategic Operations, and is responsible for building out internal & external corporate and marketing communications practices within the Mass Markets team and the SSE enterprise. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand integrity across the enterprise – to be 'one voice' from the company. Within this role, they will lead and manage: Internal & External Comms: Comms strategies focused on company, leadership, key marketing announcements, community, and strategic partnerships internally and externally. This includes crafting compelling messages, drafting press releases, and event coverage, as well as collaborating with the parent company Corporate Communications team to seed publications and drive increased brand awareness and perception. Social & Email Marketing: Oversee GNG’s social media and email marketing strategies, which include developing and managing messaging calendars, content creation, email operations, channel deployment, and optimizations. Crisis Management: Coordinate crisis management strategy and execution as needed.
