Responsibilities The Laboratory Department Shift Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day department operation of the laboratory for their assigned shift coverage. This position requires an individual who is highly skilled in all clinical areas as it relates to Laboratory results. This individual helps maintain excellent rapport among Laboratory, Physicians, Nursing Staff and other Hospital Departments. This individual works closely with the Laboratory Director to maintain policy, procedures and day-to-day operations of the specific Department and Alliance Laboratories Qualifications Education: - Bachelors Degree Licensure/Certification/Registration: - Licensure/Certification/Registration: State of Florida Supervisor (SU) license - Training: ASCP MT or equivalent; LIS Training and or experience Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English - Experience: Five Years required to meet State regulations
