We are seeking a highly driven Front & Rear Systems Design & Release Supervisor to lead engineering teams, deliver high-performance systems, and drive continuous improvement across quality, cost, and functional performance targets. This role is ideal for an engineering leader who excels in complex environments, thrives on cross-functional collaboration, and consistently delivers measurable value in system design, program execution, cost optimization and quality delivery.

Requirements

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive engineering, TVM, and cost management.
  • Proven success leading large engineering teams and delivering complex vehicle programs.
  • Thorough knowledge of GPDS and proven skill of interpreting process deliverables for Front & Rear System Commodities.
  • Demonstrated 8D problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and elevate an engineering organization of 10+ engineers, establishing high performance standards and a culture of technical excellence.
  • Mentor and develop early-career engineers, accelerating integration and technical growth to meet program milestones.
  • Facilitate technical discussions, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution at program and executive levels.
  • Demonstrated expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, with the ability to clearly define issues, drive rigorous root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Strong capability in leading complex supplier recovery and containment initiatives to stabilize quality performance and ensure continuity of supply.
  • Extensive cross-functional collaboration experience, effectively managing escalations, warranty concerns, and quality negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skilled in assessing supplier capabilities, identifying gaps, and executing robust corrective action plans to elevate quality standards and operational reliability
  • Oversee engineering execution for major vehicle programs, ensuring alignment with Quality, Cost, Weight, and Functional Performance (QCWF) objectives.
  • Manage Design & Release activities, engineering specifications, requirements, and technical documentation.
  • Lead Total Value Management (TVM) initiatives to deliver significant Front & Rear Systems material cost efficiencies.
  • Implement cost-reduction methodologies, enabling EBIT margin improvements and multimillion-dollar savings across product lines.
