About The Position

The Supervisor Cargo Services role at Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) involves managing and coordinating all aspects of cargo operations at LAX. This position is responsible for overseeing operational activities, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and safety. The supervisor will also be involved in staffing, training, and performance monitoring of employees, while ensuring adherence to security protocols and budgetary controls.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and report to work regularly.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate security programs and TSA legislation.
  • Administer practices fairly and equitably among employees, customers, and vendors.
