The Supt Maintenance Contract Coordination role is responsible for managing the contract lifecycle for refinery maintenance and facility contracts. This includes ensuring timely execution of contracts, resolving disputes, building relationships with vendors, managing risks, and overseeing contractor performance. The position also involves improving contractor management efficiency and leading the Cap & Trade Process.

  • Own and lead the Cap & Trade Process, facilitating discussions about manpower and optimization.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including drafting and negotiating contracts with Procurement and Vendors.
  • Oversee the contractor onboarding process, ensuring access to company resources and training.
  • Build and maintain relationships with refinery vendors and contractors to facilitate contract execution and dispute resolution.
  • Report and analyze refinery contract data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Oversee the performance of refinery contractors, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Develop KPIs with refinery stakeholders to measure contractor performance.
  • Manage the Pulse meeting process with stakeholders and contractors to discuss performance measurements.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for contractor services to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • A minimum of 10 years of industrial maintenance/craft experience or equivalent engineering experience.
  • Five years of supervisory experience required depending on assignment.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise between refinery and contractors.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contract terms.
  • Problem-solving skills to address issues during the contract lifecycle.
  • Attention to detail to ensure compliance and meet deadlines.
  • Good understanding of refinery processes and needs for effective contract negotiation.
  • Familiarity with technology tools to streamline contractor management processes.
  • Knowledge of Lean methodology and tools, with the ability to lead Kaizen events.
