We’re looking for a Fire Suppression Technician to join our team in Williston, VT , helping us protect lives and property as we continue expanding across the East Coast. Requirements

  • Whether you’ve been in the trade for years or are just getting started, we want to hear from you if you have a strong work ethic and take pride in getting the job done right. While experience is always a plus, what really matters is the right mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and able to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Vermont
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check as a condition of employment
  • Candidates should have an interest in the construction industry and may possess experience reading blueprints, using hand tools, and operating machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, testing, and recharging of kitchen and industrial fire suppression systems, as well as fire extinguishers
  • Assemble, install, maintain, and service fire suppression systems in commercial buildings throughout Vermont
  • Represent Encore in a positive and professional manner while working with customers
  • Work independently and as part of a team, depending on the job
