We’re seeking a skilled Fire Suppression Technician (Special Hazards) to join our West Springfield, MA team. Requirements

Past experience in Fire Suppression required
Must be comfortable working at heights and able to lift at least 50 lbs
MA CC-47 Engineer Systems certification required
Must have valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the state of Rhode Island

Nice To Haves

MA CC-48 Pre-Engineered Fixed Systems certification preferred
MA CC-46 Portable Fire Extinguishers certification preferred
MA CC-41 Self-Serve Facilities certification preferred

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, test, and maintain special hazard fire suppression systems, including but not limited to:
Clean agent systems (e.g., FM-200, Novec 1230)
CO₂ systems
Foam suppression systems
Water mist systems
Explosion suppression or detection systems
Verify proper system operation through functional and acceptance testing
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot system issues or deficiencies
Ensure all work complies with applicable NFPA codes (e.g., NFPA 2001, 12, 750), local regulations, and company standards
Work closely with project managers, foremen, and other trades on-site to support successful project execution.
Document inspections, maintenance, and service activities in accordance with company and client requirements.
Being a positive and professional representative of Encore while dealing with customers, directly and indirectly
Must have the ability to work alone and in team setting.
