About The Position

The Supportive Services Manager at the Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) is responsible for overseeing and leading case managers across multiple Permanent Supportive Housing properties. This role involves translating management and grant goals into practice standards, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and providing support and training to staff. The manager will engage in direct resident support, conduct site visits, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery and resident outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field required; MSW preferred.
  • Experience in case management and/or resident support services.
  • Supervisory and management experience in a related role.
  • Background in grant management is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of local social service resources and experience working with homeless individuals/families.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HMIS and FCS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with property management focused on serving low-income residents.
  • Excellent computer and technology skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Supportive Services with systems integration and translating management goals into practice standards.
  • Supervise and lead case managers at five to six Permanent Supportive Housing sites and/or Enhanced Shelter.
  • Provide consultation, guidance, and support to case managers in assigned teams.
  • Directly supervise up to 10 Supportive Service staff at assigned properties and shelters.
  • Conduct staff meetings on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
  • Engage in direct-resident support as needed, including crisis intervention and case management.
  • Conduct regular site visits to multiple properties for supervision and guidance.
  • Manage administrative support tasks, including scheduling and internal auditing tasks.
  • Collaborate with LIHI leadership and finance staff to ensure accurate grant management and reporting.
