About The Position

Winston Retail https://www.winstonretail.com is looking for a passionate and detail-driven Apparel Merchandiser to bring fashion to life at the store level. As a Merchandiser, you'll ensure clothing is styled, organized, and presented to reflect brand identity and attract shoppers. Working hands-on in a Walmart store, you'll be responsible for styling mannequins and displays to create a polished, trend-forward shopping experience. This position reports directly to onsite Lead Visual Merchandiser, who drives the team's daily execution goals and tasks and is further overseen by the Winston Regional Manager.

Requirements

Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred
Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling)
Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential
A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

A portfolio of work is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company standards
Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
Elevate all questions and concerns to the Lead Visual Merchandiser
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings
Ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
Smartphones are required for reporting:
IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer
Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
Ability to lift to 25 pounds and stand on feet the entire shift
