About The Position

This role offers opportunities for healthcare professionals. The Support Tech in Surgical Services performs various tasks and duties to assist and support staff, including cleaning and servicing rooms, removing waste, performing special projects, inventorying and restocking supplies, and obtaining rental units. The position also involves providing simple patient care activities to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and caregivers.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must hold American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) of experience as a Support Technician.
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and services rooms, removes waste, and performs special projects as assigned.
- Inventories and restocks supplies on the unit, and obtains supplies and rental units.
- Provides support to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and caregivers by performing simple patient care activities.
- Performs various tasks and duties to provide assistance and support in an expanded Support Tech role to the staff in Surgical Services.
