If you are someone interested in working with the most vulnerable members of our community, you should consider joining our Family Shelter as Support Staff is responsible for providing a safe, clean and non-threatening environment to persons experiencing homelessness. Through providing input on policies and programs, this role assists with identification and implementation of actions for continuous improvement in Shelter offerings and operations that aligns with our mission in serving the most vulnerable population. This position performs activities to support effective daily operations of the Shelter; including documenting safety, security, participant behaviors, medical concerns, and any other issue; monitor and request supplies as necessary; communicate with participants; participants engagement; housekeeping as necessary; always maintaining awareness to ensure a safe and clean environment. Available shift: 2nd shift(Friday-Saturday) 3:45pm-12:15am Base Pay :$16 +1 Shift differential for second shift = $17/hour

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Understanding and knowledge of housing safety concerns.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in excellent customer service.
  • Must be willing to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree.
