TACT, a Denver-based non-profit, has the mission to encourage and empower individuals with autism through education and employment in the trades. We are seeking dedicated support staff who are passionate about fostering independence and creating meaningful opportunities for neurodiverse students. What You’ll Do TACT Support Staff provide consultation or direct service in the areas of social, emotional, and behavioral functioning to meet the individual needs of clients to improve both academic/skill achievement, social competence, and increase independence goals. They often include diverse staff members whose main role is to ensure that clients learn in a supportive and safe learning environment. It is also their duty to enhance work climate by promoting the involvement of parent and family in education as well as to encourage trusting, positive client relationships. They should inhibit positive behavior and send uplifting messages to clients as they often connect with them throughout the day.
