About The Position

Trattoria Stella is seeking friendly, dependable individuals to join our front-of-house support team. This is an ideal position for students, those newer to the hospitality industry, or anyone looking to grow in a supportive, professional restaurant environment. Support staff play a vital role in our nightly operations by assisting servers and bartenders and ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and elevated dining experience. We will provide full training for those eager to learn. Requirements

No prior restaurant experience required — training provided for the right candidates.
Friendly, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn and work hard.
Evening and weekend availability preferred.
Stand and walk for extended periods (6–8 hours per shift).
Lift and carry up to 30 lbs (e.g., trays, bus tubs).
Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and accurately.
Clear, clean, and reset tables between guests to maintain a polished dining room.
Greet and seat guests if working in a host role.
Refill water glasses, polish glassware and silverware, and assist with general upkeep of service areas.
Keep service stations stocked and organized throughout the shift.
Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and fellow support staff.
Maintain awareness of guest needs and help ensure smooth service flow.
