The Enrollment Services team at Springfield Technical Community College is seeking a part-time Support Staff member to assist with various clerical functions within the offices of Admissions, Testing & Assessment, and Student Financial Services. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the Enrollment Services department, focusing on general office management and enrollment functions. The individual in this position will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the daily activities of Enrollment Services, including but not limited to general office filing, record management, and customer service functions. As a member of the Enrollment Services team, the Support Staff will primarily assist in the daily operations of the Admissions Office while also being cross-trained in other enrollment offices to provide support as needed. Excellent customer service is a key component of this role, as the individual will be greeting office visitors, answering phones, responding to emails, and managing inquiries through the Customer Relationship Management system. Additionally, the Support Staff will process transfer credit reports, update transcripts and student records, and help coordinate large enrollment events. The position requires a commitment to fostering a work environment that promotes diversity and inclusion, and the individual will be expected to demonstrate 100% time-on-task while adhering to college and office procedures. Participation in college meetings, events, training, and professional development opportunities is also encouraged, as is involvement in college committees and work groups as approved by the supervisor. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, provided they do not alter the basic level of the position.
