To support the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program and gather data to review the results of the program. The role involves assisting in the implementation of student information systems, conducting follow-up placement surveys for all CTE graduates, translating detailed program specifications into appropriate computer language code, and coordinating the installation and maintenance of programming projects with relevant personnel. The specialist is responsible for reporting task status and progress to meet deadlines, working across multiple platforms and programming languages with an understanding of network operation, and collaborating with various departments and schools within the district. Key duties also include providing documentation and training to users and staff, visiting high school campuses to track CTE inventory, and maintaining the Dysart Unified School District CTE Inventory database. The position requires establishing and maintaining good rapport with students, employees, community members, and vendors, while upholding a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
