About The Position
The Support Service staff member is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for children, staff, and families along with serving meals and assisting in the classroom. Details for Classroom Support Services Opening in Carson $17.00/hour 32 hours per week. Children attend Head Start on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Wednesdays are set as classroom preparation and staff work day. Work 9 months per year and enjoy the summers off! If interested, summer hours may be available through HIT, Inc. Requirements
- Requires high school diploma or GED
- Requires a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to all principles of confidentiality
- Assist in the classroom.
- Clean the classroom, bus, and related areas.
- Meal service and cleanup.
- Attend the Safety and Sanitation training.
- Make a list of needed groceries and supplies.
- Maintain playground - i.e. snow shoveling, mowing, ice removal, sweeping sidewalks, pick up trash, etc..
- Report monthly mileage.
- Pass CPR and First Aid
