The Seasonal Support Services Worker position is part of the Support Services department. There are multiple openings available, as we are hiring multiple individuals for Environmental Services, Dietary Services, various other Support Services. This position is ideal for high school and college students seeking flexible employment that adjusts to school schedules, with increased hours available during summer months and school holiday breaks, and reduced availability during the academic school year. Responsibilities may include cleaning and sanitation duties, assisting with food service operations, and supporting basic kitchen and housekeeping functions. Candidates with an interest in healthcare or hospital culinary services are encouraged to apply and will be given preference.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Basic math skills required.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment and understand basic cleaning chemicals and safety practices.
Physical ability to perform job-related tasks, including standing, lifting, and operating equipment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service and confidentiality.
Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and personal integrity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of support service duties as assigned within Support Services.
