About The Position

Provides administrative and clerical support to the Department Director and Manager. Interacts with physicians, directors, managers, ancillary and department staff. Faciltates the completion of department assignments. What will you do in this role: Types accurately with attention to detail. Prepares correspondence, reports, and materials for presentations Sets up and coordinates meetings Creates, transcribes and distributes meeting agendas and minutes Answers telephones and handles calls in an appropriate manner Meets and greets patients and visitors Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to: copying, faxing, mailing and filing Maintains hard copy and electronic filing system Researches, prices and purchases Demonstrates ability to maintain a safe environment Promotes internal and external customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • 3-5 years technical, clerical experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and telephone protocols
  • computer literate with ability to learn new software applications
  • CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days of hire.
