About The Position

H.S. diploma or G.E.D. The Support Services Aide provides a variety of indirect and direct care. This includes provision for patients' dependency needs, such as safety, and physical and psychological comfort measures as applicable; transports patients, specimens/blood and instruments/equipment/ supplies, as needed, to assigned locations under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsible for restocking surgical suites and supports areas and assists with cleaning and processing surgical suites, instruments and equipment, as needed. Identifies and reports situations that require intervention to clinician of operations. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
