About The Position

Supports retention and completion efforts through advising and supporting students with any academic, attendance or personal issues. Has extensive technical knowledge of each area of Student Services to provide back up support as needed. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in education field preferred but not required
  • Ability to advise and guide adult students in academic and life-skill matters
  • Computer skills required (i.e., Word, Excel)
  • Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly audits all new student files, completes file checklists, verifies graduation documentation (secondary) to ensure students meet UTI Admissions criteria, ensures all state-required documents are on obtained and on file, fully executes enrollment agreements.
  • Manages Adobe Sign fully executed EA process for all campuses, as needed
  • Responsible for evaluating and approving secondary education credentials to ensure that students meet the UTI admissions criteria in compliance with all State and Accreditation standards
  • Manages attendance box, including processing student responses and outreach to students.
  • Manages campus support box, including processing secondary graduation documentation as needed
  • Processes student changes to student enrollment status and program.
  • Provides centralized support for all aspects of academic advising and student retention activities.
  • Supports outreach to students scheduled to return to campus from LOA, re-enrollment, etc.
  • Assists campus with monitoring satisfactory progress and academic standing to ensure warnings/probations are entered timely. Helps to prepare reports to distribute to campuses to allow them to work with students strategically.
  • Provides key support for all activities related to online learning managed by the Student Services department.
  • Develops or assists in development of campus course schedules, ensuring proper densities and maximizing opportunities for students.
  • Works collaboratively with Education, communicates scheduling challenges to administration, strategically identifies concerns and proactively creates plans to address challenges, and advises students on scheduling options.
  • Provides centralized support for elective scheduling to ensure densities are maximized and help drive in brand employment outcomes.
  • Ensures all new student starts and students in returning status for course start dates are finalized by established timelines.
  • Assists with training, onboarding, and mentoring of new campus staff, as needed
  • Supports all appropriate student services and employment services tasks for the home office and campus teams as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
