About The Position

Senior Fellow is a supervisory position which involves leading a cohort of interns and their fellows. This position will require the planning and preparation of a project-based curriculum for their cohort, and will be responsible for maintaining attendance records, managing, and engaging interns in their project, and offering support to their cohort. Senior Fellows will also be required to attend and participate in training sessions and events. Please note this is a full-time position with 30 hours during the school year and 40 hours during the summer, per week. This role will be supporting both HRC and JCYC staff. Administrative Support Sr Fellow: The Community and Programs Division play a central role in driving meaningful partnerships that enhance program delivery, strengthen community engagement, and align with the HRC’s mission. This particular fellow supports all administrative tasks and various areas of the program such as partners/host site support and fellows management. Payroll Support Sr Fellow: This role plays a central role in supporting the economic stability and mobility of our interns by ensuring accurate, and compliant compensation. A strong payroll presence is essential to the mission, as it helps remove barriers to participation, fosters equity, and strengthens the overall impact of our programs. As the number of interns grows and payroll regulations evolve, administrative and compliance demands have increased.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a cohort of interns and their fellows.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver project-based curriculum aligned with the cohort’s career field.
  • Develop and maintain a weekly schedule of activities.
  • Communicate meeting locations and updates to interns.
  • Collaborate with assigned cohorts and the Program Assistant to ensure interns are engaged, supported, and properly compensated.
  • Track and maintain accurate attendance records and timesheets; support time documentation across programming to ensure labor codes are met.
  • Enter payroll into ADP and submit timesheets to the Payroll Administrator on a weekly basis.
  • Provide payroll policy and procedure support (HRC-Program) for partners and interns via drop-ins and requests.
  • Take daily attendance and follow up on absences.
  • Mediate and resolve intern conflicts; support disengaged interns to re-engage.
  • Ensure all required intern work documents are completed prior to the start of the internship.
  • Improve workflow efficiency within the Partnerships Team through scheduling coordination, logistical support, and project tracking.
  • Strengthen partner relationship management through timely communication, follow-up, and tracking.
  • Support communication efforts, including development of the OFA Annual Report, website updates, social media accounts, host-site profiles, and external newsletters.
  • Assist in coordinating internal and external events, workshops, and trainings.
  • Support tracking of partnership metrics, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
