Protect Life Michigan’s Support Raising Coach will assist in preparing new and existing staff to thrive in their support-raising efforts. This position requires an individual to be fully funded via Support Raising, be experienced in and knowledgeable about Protect Life MI’s support-raising strategy, and have a keen attention to detail. This role requires a high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to lead others in a clear, encouraging, and practical way. This is a part-time position reporting to the Support Raising Specialist. Location: Remote with occasional in-person activities.

  • Assist in the development and improvement of SR materials such as training content, Bootcamp materials, etc. under the direction of the SR Specialist
  • Hold check-in meetings with new hires to review prep work and provide presentation feedback
  • Check weekly SR reports to assess staff health, questions, barriers, etc. to prepare for coaching cohorts
  • Host internal Support Raising Bootcamps
  • Host two weekly coaching cohort meetings, providing coaching to all part-time staff
  • Provide one-on-one coaching to staff who need additional training in areas such as getting referrals, contacting churches, overcoming barriers, etc.
  • Oversee weekly phone call meetings
  • Assist in the creation and facilitation of Supporter Touchpoints
  • Assist in planning and hosting of the annual Fully Funded Feast
  • Communicate issues with staff progress to the Support Raising Specialist
  • Send Fully Funded gifts to employees who reach their Support Raising goal
  • Send relevant information on how to utilize the Fully Funded Fund to newly eligible employees
  • Provide coaching to current employees who are entering a new season of support raising
  • Provide coaching to staff during annual Support Raising Sprints
  • Train and assist the Intern Leadership Team in coaching Summer Interns
  • Schedule periodic SR trainings, reminding staff of certain SR elements such as The God Ask, supporter gratitude, etc.
  • Foster a positive SR culture through language, behavior, learning opportunities, mission moments, and more.
  • Assist with other projects and tasks, as needed
  • Commitment to the pro-life movement and the mission of Protect Life Michigan
  • Support-raising experience required (Preferably 3 years of experience maintaining full funding)
  • Excellent coaching skills, ability to encourage others while providing relevant, practical advice, and confidence in solving problems on a case-by-case basis
  • Bubble and Google Workspace experience required
  • High degree of emotional intelligence with an ability to show support, celebrate wins, and hold people accountable to goals and outcomes
  • Ability to understand data and manage multiple projects independently
