About The Position

Performs moderately complex clerical/office work. Work involves answering phone, clerical duties, entering data, greeting clients/staff, reviewing staff documentation and word processing. Duties can also include managing mail, facility manager, and ordering supplies for office. Additionally: Completes all required clerical duties including data entry, copying, filing, making program packets and other tasks when requested. Enters information into the appropriate local and state databases (TKIDS, EHR, etc) Communicates with health insurance companies for prior authorization and service authorizations Acts as a responsible member of the team. Works cooperatively with staff to meet program needs to include accepting additional duties/projects as needed. Cross trained to cover other support staff responsibilities and perform these tasks when needed. Performs functions of Facility Manager for office when needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six (6) months of experience working in a medical office, agency, or hospital with knowledge of scheduling, data entry, and general office experience in general office duties.
  • Knowledge and experience in performing office duties.
  • Must be knowledgeable in computer programs such as MSWord and Excel.
  • Must be professional and knowledgeable of customer service skills.
