Support Partners perform housekeeping duties in alignment with infection control standards. They maintain a sanitary, well organized, positive environment for the patient, family, and patient care team. This position transports patients, specimens, and medications. Responsibilities

  • Assists other care team members with activities of daily living, i.e., bathing, feeding, transferring, ambulating patients
  • Completes cleaning of common areas on unit, including but not limited to desks, phones, soiled utility, pantries, conference rooms, staff and visitor bathrooms, and lounge areas
  • Completes routine "daily" cleaning of occupied patient rooms and extensive discharge cleaning in alignment with infection control guidlines, policies and procedures
  • Stocks appropriate supplies
  • Supports relationship based care by providing compassionate, holistic care to patients, family, and co-workers and promoting a safe, caring, and healing environment
  • Transports patients, specimens and supplies as requested
