About The Position

At Values Into Action, we partner with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to design and live their best lives as active members of their communities. We believe in inclusion, respect, and self-determination—and we’re looking for team members who share these values. What You’ll Do As a Support Partner, you’ll work one-on-one with a person in their home and community. Your role is about partnership, not “doing for”—you’ll support with daily living activities, community engagement, and personal goals. This includes: Personal care (bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, transferring with a Hoyer lift) Transportation using a wheelchair-accessible van Medication administration and healthcare appointments Household tasks like shopping and cleaning Supporting technology use (iPads, laptops, Alexa) Encouraging community involvement and recreation Schedule Part-time positions available for the following schedules: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday: 7AM - 3PM Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 3PM - 11PM What We’re Looking For Creative, patient, and professional team members Strong communication skills Ability to support someone in living a self-directed life Pay $21/hour Our Commitment Values Into Action is an equal opportunity employer and a disability rights organization. Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • 18 years of age or older
  • at least 1 year experience supporting people to live in the community
  • current CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred
  • must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • must be creative in the community
  • Be or willing to be Covid-19 Vaccinated prior to employment

Nice To Haves

  • CNA preferred but not required
  • Personal or professional experience with people with intellectual disabilities and a mental health diagnosis is a plus but not a requirement
