Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? We are seeking a highly motivated leader to oversee the Support Equipment Data Analytics Team (SEDAT). In this role, you will guide a multidisciplinary team focused on solving complex business challenges and delivering high-impact digital and analytics solutions. As a visible and influential member of the organization, you will work on the front line of engagement—supporting business partners across Pratt & Whitney and the broader analytics community. The Team Lead will collaborate directly with stakeholders to understand requirements, develop coding logic, create visualizations, and deliver analytics products that enable data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, team-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about leveraging data to drive operational improvement and business transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline. i.e., Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Economics, Math. Other degrees are acceptable with an appropriate background in analytics with 8+ years of experience or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related STEM discipline.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience or interest in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Qlik, Tableau, or comparable platforms.
  • Demonstrated program management capability, with experience leading projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with SQL, database structures, and both Waterfall and Agile software development practices.
  • Ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment, working independently or collaboratively to align project scope, timelines, and communication.
  • Self-motivated and customer-focused, with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Strategic, data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and effective time management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to tactfully challenge existing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable and adaptable analytics solutions to support Global Logistics and Support Equipment Readiness (GLaSER).
  • Provide analytics and digital support for Support Equipment (SE) needs across all engine programs, including F135, F119, F100, F117, and APU.
  • Develop and manage analytics products using Power BI and Qlik Sense to enable data-driven decision-making for business partners.
  • Source, clean, and prepare data from multiple systems to support downstream analytics and reporting needs.
  • Engage directly with business partners to gather requirements, develop coding logic, build visualizations, and deliver solutions that address complex business challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams involved in data management, governance, and analytics platform operations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed products while adhering to established team development and documentation processes.
  • Contribute in a Lean and Agile team environment to design, build, test, implement, and support analytics and digital solutions.
  • Utilize data transformation and visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Query, SQL, and Excel to build impactful analytics products.
  • Apply foundational statistical concepts (e.g., mean, range, standard deviation, probability) to support accurate and meaningful data analysis.
  • Leverage working knowledge of SAP, including Warehouse, Requisition, Contracts, Procurement, and Fleet Management T-Codes, to extract, interpret, and analyze operational data.
