About the Team and Role: We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our team and support Robinhood’s continued growth. This role is based in our Clearwater, FL office and requires regular on-site presence. As a Support Engineer, you will work closely with employees across the company to provide reliable, high-quality IT support. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and quick learner who enjoys helping others and is eager to grow their IT skill set in a collaborative environment. You should be comfortable serving as the primary IT point of contact for the Clearwater office, taking initiative, and working closely with teammates across different regions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an enterprise IT support or help desk role.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, and similar SaaS platforms.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues in both in-person and remote environments.
  • Experience supporting multiple operating systems, with a primary focus on macOS; familiarity with iOS, Android, Windows, and ChromeOS is a plus.
  • Exposure to Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Working knowledge of VPNs, password managers, two-factor authentication, single sign-on, and basic security concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee technical issues, providing in-person and remote support for software and hardware, primarily on macOS.
  • Troubleshoot and support enterprise applications and services, escalating high-priority issues or outages to partner teams when needed.
  • Resolve on-site infrastructure and connectivity issues, including WiFi, remote access, and security tools (e.g., Zscaler).
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing hardware, managing access, maintaining asset records, and helping improve related processes.
  • Assist with Release and Change Management activities by supporting deployments, communicating changes, and helping employees during rollouts.
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute ideas to improve processes and overall employee experience.
  • Act as the primary IT support contact for executives in the Clearwater office, delivering responsive and professional support.
  • Provide IT and AV support for office events such as All Hands meetings, Q&A sessions, and other on-site gatherings.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain AV equipment in conference rooms and event spaces.
