Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. The support engineer works with the launch processing teams to generate documentation, improve procedures, and communicate with a multi-disciplinary team. This role will be responsible for supporting satellite process development and operational troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a highly technical setting and leads collaboration with other departments to reach the best solution to any problem. The candidate will have experience with mechanical and electrical equipment used for aerospace hardware integration and test, with particular focus on satellite processing. The support engineer will work closely with technicians and engineers to develop processes and procedures, implement lessons learned and updates, and support operations. This position requires skill and experience in a variety of areas, including mechanical assembly, propellant loading, rigging, electrical checkouts and satellite troubleshooting.
