About The Position

The Support Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and operational readiness of autonomous mobility systems. This position bridges technical expertise with real-world operations, providing hands-on support for autonomous vehicles, supporting infrastructure, and customer deployments.

Requirements

Experience with robotics, automotive systems, or complex electromechanical platforms.
Familiarity with networking, and diagnostic tools.
Exposure to sensors used in autonomy (LiDAR, radar, cameras) and vehicle communication protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in fast-paced, real-world operational environments.

Responsibilities

System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor autonomous systems, vehicle performance, and backend software platforms; diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure safe and consistent operation.
Field Support & Deployment: Provide on-site or remote support during deployments, fleet operations, software updates, sensor calibrations, and hardware integrations.
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate operational anomalies involving perception systems, sensors (LiDAR, radar, cameras), networking, or vehicle control modules; escalate complex issues to engineering teams.
Customer & Operational Partner Support: Serve as a technical liaison to customers, fleet operators, and partners, providing clear communication, issue tracking, and user guidance.
System Maintenance: Perform routine system health checks, firmware updates, and preventive maintenance on autonomous platforms and associated infrastructure (edge compute, connectivity, charging, etc.).
Documentation & Process Improvement: Create support documentation, workflows, and best practices; provide feedback to engineering teams to improve product reliability and operational efficiency.
