Key responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions professionally and efficiently. Resolve customer issues and complaints by following standard operating procedures. Gather relevant information to diagnose and address customer concerns quickly. Deliver accurate, solution-orientated responses tailored to each customer. Escalate complex cases when necessary and follow through to resolution. Maintain up-to-date product, process, and system knowledge. Ensure customer records are accurate and current. Adhere to all workplace policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping people and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and active listening skills.
  • Adaptability and professionalism when engaging with diverse customers.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of POPIA and GDPR (advantageous).
  • Education: National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).
  • Experience: 1 year in a Contact Centre or retail customer service environment.
  • Tech skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Contact Centre systems or databases.

Nice To Haves

  • BPESA and CCMG registration advantageous.
