Summary: The Support Associate – Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and advising patients of surgical preoperative and post-operative requirements, initiating medical clearance appointments, ensuring adequate timing of the appointment to minimize disruption to physician’s schedule should a cancellation occur due to inability to clear patient as well as facilitating scheduling of coordinated surgeries with other physician’s offices and special equipment needs with vendors as necessary.
