About The Position

Assist in the Operation of the HSW warehouse and equipment repair facility. Refurbish and repair Food Service Equipment as needed. Wage Range: $18-$20/hr.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of equipment use, maintenance and safety
  • Must be able to prioritize incoming requests and complete within a timely period of time
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 100+ pounds
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Ability to use voltage/electrical meter to check system components
  • Ability to operate and obtain a forklift license
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, mechanical and electrical information and systems
  • Basic PC knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • Basic experience in warehouse/supply management preferred, but not required
  • Education/training in maintenance or equipment repairs preferred, but not required
  • Experience in equipment maintenance preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Regularly print, pick and ship store orders in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner
  • Organize, label and ensure proper rotation of all inventory in stock
  • Make adjustments to store invoices before posting to ensure stores are charged appropriately and reflects the proper declination of stock
  • Weekly counts of current inventory to ensure an accurate monthly inventory
  • Receive new product into the warehouse documenting shortages, overages and damages
  • Enter new product/inventory into system and forward appropriate information to Corporate Accounting department
  • Point of contact for Supply Accountant for questions related to billing, credits or errors
  • Organize labels and ensure proper rotation of all inventory
  • Collaborate with various Corporate departments to ship special products, new product rollouts, outfit new stores for opening, remodels and conversions
  • Research and utilize best shipping methods to ensure speed and cost effectiveness
  • Assist with loading and off-loading vehicles
  • Prepare for and assist with yearly inventory audit
  • Keep warehouse area clean and organized
  • Maintain/inventory adequate stock of parts to keep local and out-state repair personnel supplied
  • Work with Engineering purchasing agent to ensure we have proper products on hand; assist with competitively sourcing products
  • Receive parts orders and ensure orders are accurate and complete, communicating any discrepancies to the Engineering purchasing agent
  • Ship parts to Stationstores or repair personnel, as requested
  • Manage equipment exchange program; ship replacement equipment to Stationstores as needed
  • Occasionally repair equipment received through equipment exchange program or from other repair personnel
  • Occasionally make equipment repairs and recommendations that are cost effective for Company, (i.e. implement new techniques, use of generic parts, replacing equipment as needed)
  • Keep workshop and parts storage clean and organized
  • Assist Engineering department with special projects, as needed
  • Complete company forms and reports accurately
  • Maintain records of materials used daily
  • Maintain company tools and equipment
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor
