About The Position
The Supply Technician position involves investigating stock, record, and material discrepancies that impact inventory balances. The role requires inspecting materials based on correspondence regarding potential defects and item data reports. The technician will receive various communications concerning discrepancies related to material inspections, issues, shipments, receipts, storage, and inventory adjustments. Responsibilities include performing physical inventory counts, conducting material inspections, updating records based on cyclic inspections, and researching receipt discrepancies. The technician will also conduct preliminary research for inventory and location surveys, perform material tracking, and handle clerical tasks such as filing and correspondence.
