About The Position

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
• Must be registered or exempt from the Selective Service.
• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Suitable for Federal employment determined by background investigation.
• Time in Grade requirement must be met by the closing date of the vacancy.
• Position requires a valid state driver's license.
• Qualified typist is required.
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the federal sector.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in supply regulations, policies, and procedures related to provisioning and pre-procurement screening.
• Ability to conduct extensive searches for required information.
• Experience in reconstructing records for complex supply transactions.

Responsibilities

• Determine the validity of recommended buys on routine and nonroutine items and take necessary action.
• Work with logistics specialists to evaluate inventory control system demand and forecast requirements.
• Manage a budget, maintaining funds and availability of funds.
• Prepare annual inventories, participate in the inventory process, and conduct investigations to determine causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Initiate, prepare, edit, and process requisitions to stock; receive and screen shipment documents/lists for receipt verification and material into inventory.
