About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Supply Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, particularly in the packing and shipping of aircraft parts. This role requires a willingness to travel as needed to support various logistics functions.

Requirements

  • Education - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or warehouse management are a plus.
  • Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with a focus on packing and shipping.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of packing techniques and materials.
  • Familiarity with shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience handling aircraft parts or similar high-value, sensitive items is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Management - Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse. Ensure accurate recording of inventory levels and manage stock rotation. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Packing and Shipping - Properly pack and label aircraft parts for shipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange timely and cost-effective transportation of goods. Prepare necessary documentation for international and domestic shipments.
  • Travel - Travel to various locations as required to support logistics operations, including but not limited to, other warehouses, client sites, and vendor facilities.
  • Compliance and Safety - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to the handling and shipping of aircraft parts. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., IATA, FAA).
  • Collaboration - Work closely with the logistics team, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively with vendors and carriers to resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process.
