Responsible to the Logistics Manager for the daily routine of researching, validating, initiating requisitions and daily correspondence/reports. Must be capable of performing requisitioning/procuring, inventory control, storing, packaging, shipping, receiving, and cataloging required material in the support of aircraft operations. The individual will be required to attend meetings and conferences as necessary. The Supply Technician will be required to review and interpret field-related blueprints, schematics, customer technical orders, quality assurance standard practices, maintenance instructions, military specifications, Local Operating Instructions (LOI) etc., and must be capable of interpreting and complying with all Department Of Defense (DOD), Company and Manufacturer directives/policies as may be required and directed by management. The Supply Technician shall be familiar with the COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series instructions. The Supply Technician is responsible for the self-directed adherence to the Environmental, Health and Safety regulations, policies and mandated Quality Assurance, Security, Explosive Safety, and other applicable Navy/Air Force and Company Program requirements. The Supply Technician must be capable of performing and accepting responsibilities of a LEAD position.
