About The Position

Drodex is seeking a Supply Technician to support the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). ASPR is the nation’s public health preparedness and emergency response agency. Established under the Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness Act following Hurricane Katrina, ASPR leads national efforts to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the adverse health impacts of public health emergencies and disasters. The ASPR Center for Response (CFR) serves as the operational hub for HHS during public health emergencies, coordinating response activities across the federal government and with state, local, tribal, and territorial partners. Within CFR, the Office of Response Logistics (ORL) is responsible for maintaining public health and medical response assets and ensuring that ASPR responders, response caches, and emergency communications equipment are deployed to the right place at the right time to save lives. The Supply Technician will support the receipt, inventory, accountability, and distribution of critical supplies and equipment in support of national emergency response operations.

Requirements

  • Must have a working professional knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Visio.
  • Professional working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat DC and Reader preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 (Public Trust) security clearance
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED). An associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the receipt, inspection, storage, inventory, and distribution of supplies, equipment, and materials in support of program operations.
  • Verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, and condition and document receipt of all items.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of supplies in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using designated systems and databases.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventories and cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure full accountability of government property.
  • Monitor stock levels, usage trends, and coordinate replenishment actions to maintain operational readiness.
  • Prepare and process supply-related documentation, including: requisitions purchase requests receiving reports shipping records
  • Coordinate with vendors, logistics personnel, and internal stakeholders to support timely procurement and delivery.
  • Issue supplies and equipment to authorized personnel and maintain custody / chain-of-custody records.
  • Support lifecycle management activities, including property tracking, transfer, and disposal in accordance with federal regulations.
  • Generate inventory status, usage, and discrepancy reports as required.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with inventory management and audit requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement of supply and logistics workflows.
