About The Position

Request and input plans from FORSCOM into TCAIMS II data base. Update Outbound Contingency Tracking Chart Extension as required. Assist Unit Movement Officers/non-commissioned officers, Active duty and Reserves, and National Guard Units IAW FORSCOM Regulation 55-1 and 55-2 to aid the XVIII Airborne Corps in execution of exercises, deployments, and mobilizations. Assist Unit Movement Officers/non-commissioned officers update of Organizational Equipment List (OEL) or Unit Deployment List (UDL) for contingency operations for air, rail, sea, and line haul movement and training exercises. Build OEL and/or UDL when required. Review OEL and/or UDL for errors. Stamp UDL for Commanders signature. Transmit electronic communication Unit Movement Data Reports (COMPASS) to FORSCOM and LOGSA/IBS report to SDDC and TRANSCOM as required. Is an independent decision-maker when providing technical guidance, determining material, personnel, and equipment requirements. Also determines movement phases and time requirements. Export data from TCAIMS II onto an ICODES drive to be accessed at the ADACG for load planning. Generate Military Shipping Labels (MSL) and write to Radio Frequency Identification Tags for in-transit visibility (ITV). Review, prepare, and coordinate Special Assignment Airlift Missions (SAAM) and serve as POC between requesting unit, SDDC, and the AMC. Coordinate all mission changes, departures, or returns via message format and telephonic communication. Process DD Forms 1265 and 1266, reviews, validates, and prepares all local convoy requests. Coordinate with Range Control, MATES, and DPW when required. Submit requests for approval for convoy clearances off Fort Bragg and Special Haul Permits to the NC State Mobilization Movement Control (MOBCON). Convoy requests are IAW FORSCOM 55-1, AR 55-29, FM 55-30, and 55-312. Assist in the collection of data for weekly and end of month reports. Assist in placing sensitive documents to the proper shred container to be destroyed. Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Hold and maintain a valid drivers license
  • Drive a GSA vehicle
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Perform other duties as required that may involve working overtime, weekends, flexible hours and holidays.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • 3 years or more experience.
  • Knowledge in transportation field, TC-AIMS II and Unit Moves procedures related to training and real-world deployments and redeployments.
