About The Position

Join our team as a Supply Technician and play a vital role in keeping clinical operations running smoothly. In this role, you’ll manage, organize, and distribute essential medical and surgical supplies across clinical areas, maintain accurate supply levels, and ensure inventory locations remain fully stocked to support exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • High School/GED or formal educational equivalent and six months experience in supply distribution preferably in a healthcare environment

Responsibilities

  • Accurately order and completely fill PAR levels of medical/surgical supplies in automated supply cabinets and manually controlled bulk PAR rooms.
  • Check PAR areas on a daily basis and as assigned; break down pallets and deliver supplies on carts; refill central supply inventory locations and adjust inventory counts.
  • Count, manage and place replenishment orders as needed.
  • Rotate supplies into Sterile and non-sterile areas on shelves, specialty carts, floors on the FIFO (first in, first out) basis when restocking; daily checks of supplies for package integrity and outdates and remove damaged or outdated supplies.
  • Perform cycle counts and correct on a daily basis and as needed to ensure accurate inventory counts.
  • Maintain cabinets and carts in assigned areas in a neat and orderly basis; organize shelves, bins and labels and keep the supply areas clean; follow through on needed repairs to cabinets and carts; remove unauthorized/excessive/damaged/outdated supplies.
  • Staff the Central Supply dispatch window and tube system as assigned; issue and record supplies sent via pick up, delivery or tube system.
  • Issue out procedural trays and carts and record the issuance.
  • Responsible for after hour delivery of isolation cart.
  • Other duties as assigned
