About The Position

ATS is seeking a qualified Supply Technician who maintains and executes the supply and property accountability plan and implementing instructions for Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA). The Supply Technician will locate and move materials and parts between work areas to expedite processing of goods, according to schedules and priorities, and keep related records. This role involves reviewing inventory reports and work orders to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material and priorities of customer orders. The technician will confer with supervisors to determine materials overdue and inform them of the location, availability, and condition of materials. Responsibilities also include recording the quantity and type of materials distributed and on hand, updating and maintaining inventory records using GCCS-Army, and participating in reviews/reports on contract data requirements drafts and correspondence. The technician will administer, prepare, review, and maintain the master records for the establishment and change of logistics plans, and attend functional and physical configuration audits and formal qualification reviews.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in an associated discipline, or High School and three (3) years general work experience to include all phases of Logistics/Supply Management.
  • Experience in / knowledge of logistics management plans and implementation directives to establish a disciplined environment necessary to ensure logistics life cycle maintenance.
  • Ability to maintain a close working relationship with supervisor.
  • Ability to interface with MTC government personnel and training units to resolve logistics problems and ensure common understanding of applicable military standards and other directives as they pertain to life cycle maintenance.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft O365 and Microsoft Teams.
  • Requires a Secret Security clearance.

  • Update and maintain inventory records using GCCS-Army.
  • Administer, prepare, review, and maintain the master records for the establishment and change of logistics plans.
  • Attend functional and physical configuration audits and formal qualification reviews.
  • Support exercises and training events as needed.
