About The Position
The incumbent responds to supply requests in support of unique test requirements, aircrew flight equipment needs, and supply requests in support of the unit's test and flight training requirements. They determine stock levels needed for non-recurring, specialized items based on usage, inventory, project demands, seasonal demands, changing customer needs, and projected depletion. The incumbent functions as the primary equipment custodian, maintaining Custodian Authorization/Custody Receipt File and Custodian Request Logs. They are also the primary International Merchant Purchase Agreement Card (IMPAC) holder and perform administrative office support functions using multiple office automation software to produce a wide range of documents and databases. Additionally, they conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to complex supply transactions and patterns to meet requester requirements, reviewing requisitions and supporting documents to determine if priority supply action is required.
