About The Position

The Maintenance and Supply Technician (MAST) perform a range of technical and administrative duties in support of maintenance, production, and supply management operations. Responsibilities include inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization related to depot, local, or field-level supply activities. Work is generally organized by functional or commodity area and follows established procedures and guidelines to ensure efficiency, accountability, and compliance with governing regulations. The Supply Tech (MAST) is responsible for compiling, recording, and maintaining production and maintenance data for large vehicle and equipment operations. This includes comparing and analyzing production records, monitoring material consumption, ensuring quality control, and tracking various operational metrics. The supply technician maintains accurate records of work orders, work tickets, and material usage, and prepares detailed reports and schedules based on established guidelines and priorities. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to calculate and analyze data such as material quantities, production rates, and defect frequencies using computer-based tools and spreadsheets. The supply technician prepares requisitions for materials and supplies, maintains detailed documentation for production and maintenance activities, and complies reports and charts for management review. Assignments typically relate to stable and standardized segments of technical supply management and maintenance operations. The work requires solid knowledge of governing supply systems, policies, nomenclature, manuals, and other established procedures. The Maintenance and Supply Technician must demonstrate analytical ability to identify and define issues, determine necessary actions, and implement or recommend corrective measures based on established standards. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to prescribed procedures are essential for success in this position. The Supply Tech (MAST) ensures accountability for materials, tools, and equipment, contributing to the overall effectiveness and readiness of the organization. Performs all other position -related duties and assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Have at least 3 years' experience in supply chain management or relevant experience.
  • Knowledgeable with Global Combat Service System-Army (GCSS-A).
  • Experienced in ordering, reviewing, and researching parts request.
  • Strong knowledge of production scheduling, logistics, and procurement processes.
  • Typing speed of no less than 40 w.p.m. and a good command of spoken and written English.
  • Able to work independently on various office administrative duties with attention to details.
  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office, word processing, Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
  • Produce scheduling with the operating teams to meet demand forecasts and maximize efficiency for equipment serviceability.
  • Generate reports on inventory, scheduling, and compliance for employees to perform audits.
  • Required to perform physical activities that require considerable use of the arms and legs and moving the entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, stooping to handle materials.
  • Safety conscious attitude.
  • Must be a US Citizen or able to work in the US.
