About The Position

NELOGIS is seeking a Supply Systems Analyst to support DLA Distribution San Diego (DDDC). DDDC’s primary mission is to manage and execute efficient and effective receiving, storage, inventory, packaging, Care of Supplies in Storage, stock control, stock selection, issue processing, packing, shipping, and distribution of repair parts and secondary items in support of on-base, local, and worldwide customers.

Requirements

  • Must have previous experience working at a DLA Distribution Facility.
  • A minimum 3 years of experience in inventory using WMS or equivalent automated WMS within the past 5 years.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and retain a U.S. Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • A plus if currently possesses or previously held a U.S. Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes transactions/data to determine problem areas.
  • Determine the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions; provides the impact of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations.
  • Coordinates with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems, and research functional problem area.
  • Requires knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships in order to conduct studies, reviews, and investigations.
  • Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures is required to manage and control material through the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and/or transportation functions.
  • Performs as the DLA Warehouse Management System -Warehouse Management System (WMS) POC to serve as the focal point for the Government in receiving communication and responding to information pertaining to WMS.
  • Performs WMS-MIS functions IAW C-5.1.3.2 WMS-MIS; and serves as the QMF query writer to write new queries as required.
  • Uses WMS and other Government Data Systems.
