Shaw Industries is looking for a Supply Room Clerk to c oordinate activities of the plant storeroom and maintain an adequate supply of parts and materials. This position is on 1st Shift. Responsibilities

Assist in the receiving, unloading, stocking , maintaining in inventory.
Dispensing maintenance items and supplies.
Daily review of the store’s withdrawal cards and receiving reports for correctness and delivers to accounting .
Maintain part inventory on computer and requisition parts and materials for inventory.
Edit the computer’s data base when parts are received or removed from storeroom .
Ensure that all purchase orders are approved and that parts arrive when needed.
Monitor inventory levels of all store’s items and recommend changes to the reorder point and the reorder quantity.
Assist engineering in cost estimates and reporting.
Using a lift truck , must pick up shipments of inventory at the Shaw Chem loading docks.
Send out items for repair and complete miscellaneous shipping sheets.
