About The Position
The Supply Room Attendant is responsible for receiving, inventory control, and issuing of materials required to support all maintenance functions and plant operations. This role involves checking quantities, condition, and accuracy of all items received against purchase orders and the supply room system, placing materials in the proper location, and notifying various offices or departments of their deliveries to the stock room. The attendant will also issue parts or tools, prepare maintenance stock issue forms, conduct cycle count audits, and maintain the cleanliness of the storeroom. Records and the storeroom must be kept in a neat and orderly fashion, along with other duties as required.
