About The Position
We are excited to announce an opportunity at Orica for a Supply Planning Specialist within our Specialty Mining Chemicals team. The Supply Chain Specialist role is a hybrid role including purchasing, materials management. This role is responsible for procuring materials or other goods and/or coordinating activities involved with purchasing products and services, such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and advertising, for the establishment. This role will receive, review, and expedite orders as needed. In addition, this role is responsible for managing the Winnemucca site inventory, yard management. Raw material purchase orders will be placed against the monthly plan and monitored to ensure optimal raw material inventory against a changing production schedule.
