Supply Planning Process Lead (PG 10–12) Position Overview The Supply Planning Process Lead is responsible for driving change management, continuous process improvement, and standardization across supply planning operations. This role bridges strategy and execution by ensuring planning processes are efficient, scalable, and consistently adopted, while also maintaining the capability to step into operational roles as needed to ensure continuity. This position plays a critical role in supporting paper machine resource planning, operational execution, project delivery, and onboarding and training effectiveness. A central expectation of this role will be to actively support the implementation of the new SCP (OMP) and to act as the SP department leader for that effort.

Requirements

  • Paper machine supply planning experience required.
  • Secondary converting supply planning experience (sheeting or rewinding) required
  • Strong background in change management, process improvement, and standardization.
  • Ability and willingness to plan paper machines and other resources roles when needed.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to influence cross‑functionally without direct authority.
  • Effective communication, documentation, and coaching skills.
  • Analytical mindset with focus on scalable, sustainable solutions.

  • ME Belt certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support supply‑planning and operations‑focused projects, ensuring successful implementation and integration into standard work.
  • Drive change management efforts to enhance clarity, efficiency, and standardization across supply planning processes.
  • Develop, maintain, and govern SOPs, documentation, and standardized workflows.
  • Align processes and key performance metrics (e.g., OTIF, Perfect Order) with business needs.
  • Act as a change champion through communication, training support, and sustainment of improvements.
  • Serve as the department SME and first point of contact for resolving exceptions.
  • Provide backup coverage for paper machine resource planning, including scheduling, capacity alignment, and short‑term planning.
  • Oversee EO rewinder planning to ensure schedules, priorities, and execution align with supply and operational requirements.
  • Step into day‑to‑day planning roles during coverage gaps to maintain continuity and service levels.
  • Collaborate with operations to prioritize production, resolve constraints, and mitigate risks.
  • Own the structure and consistency of foundational onboarding and training programs.
  • Maintain and update training materials, documentation, and learning paths.
  • Ensure onboarding expectations and basic training requirements are clearly defined and standardized.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to reinforce process adherence and support capability development.
  • Support additional initiatives, analyses, operational coverage, and special projects as business needs evolve.
